About us
Delivering expertise in Utility Connections
Formed in 2014, UD Connections has spent years working with developers to perfect the services we offer. We specialise in providing new utility connections for new build developments or change of purpose buildings. We are also able to project manage and deliver a whole host of additional services from diversion works, new substations, HV and LV connections, disconnections, temporary supplies and meter installations.
New connections explained
UD Connections' dedicated team work hard to investigate, negotiate, secure and manage utility connections (gas, water, electricity and telecoms) on behalf of our clients. The unbiased and persistent focus on our client’s interests to provide best value, often results in considerable cost savings, reduced overheads and shorter project time frames.
We have spent years building strong relationships with IDNOs, ICPs and DNOs meaning we can exploit these relationships to get things done that our customers may struggle to do so themselves. We understand the needs of our clients and the frustrations you face- normally surrounding communication, so we pride ourselves on first class communication! We will manage your projects from the design phase through to completion. We have a wealth of experience working with companies of all sizes, from national companies working on large residential schemes or I&C projects, to smaller builders providing HMOs or change of purpose buildings.
We have a meticulous programme in place when choosing to work with a supplier, with high standards to be met including the requirement to be approved on the Lloyd’s Register. This combined with years of experience really gives us the edge over our competition and ensures we will only recruit the best workers to deliver your project.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, most of our IDNOs and ICPs will only take on developments of 6+ plots, but UD Connections will still happily arrange your services directly through the networks to save you all of the hassle, and just charge a small admin fee.
